PACK & SEND held a brilliant competition for its service centres in December with their “Christmas Charity Reindeer Race”. A plush toy “Ryan the Reindeer” was presented to each Centre and then sent on a race across the UK using PACK & SEND’s shipping services. The service centre with the reindeer that travelled the greatest mileage was declared the winner, and the closest Foodbank to the centre was given a £500 donation. The Newbury PACK & SEND Centre emerged victorious with their reindeer covering the farthest distance, which was very fortunate for us at Westberks Foodbank.
PACK & SEND representatives Phil and Harry kindly stopped by the Westberks Foodbank to present a cheque and to gift us our very own Ryan the reindeer for the warehouse.
